Know Your Enemy: The Seven Deadly Sins

About this event

Saint John is hosting its sixth annual Christian Faith & Life Conference on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from

9am till 1pm. The Church has long used the seven deadly sins to identify the deeper patterns behind countless individual temptations. These sessions will help Christians recognize those patterns in themselves and in the world around them while considering how the Gospel reshapes our loves, desires, and daily lives. Our guest presenter is the Rev. Bryan Stecker, founder of Memento , founder of The Lutheran Institute of Theology , and host of On the Line Podcast. Refreshments will be provided. Whether you can join us for the entire conference or just part of it, you will leave enriched and better equipped as a child of God to battle the enemy in the strength of Christ. To register visit stjohnsycamore.org and click on Christian Faith and Life Conference. Check in begins at 8:30 am.
