The Salvation Army is moving its Belvidere thrift store and donation center from 4042 State St. to 413 Southtowne Drive off the 20 Bypass.

The new site is set to open March 6 to improve donation logistics and support local rehabilitation efforts.

On Jan. 2, new owner Katie Lund took over The Rusty Wheel Tavern in South Beloit.

Construction began last May on a nearly 50,000 sqft indoor adventure park at the former Burlington site on East State St.—located behind Old Chicago and Boot Barn.
