- ➤ Crews have been repairing a water main on the 600-block of N. Springfield Ave. since Jan. 31; traffic is reduced to one lane from Mila Ave. to Compton Ave. and drivers are advised to take alternate routes during the ongoing repairs. WIFR

- ➤ The Myers family shares daughter Amelia’s story after she was diagnosed with metachromatic leukodystrophy in May 2022 and passed away in January. They urge wider newborn screening & early treatment nationwide to offer hope to families facing rare diseases. WIFR
