- ➤ Thousands gathered downtown Saturday at City Market Pavilion and marched through local streets for a 'No Kings' rally organized by groups including the League of Women Voters and ACLU. Local leaders urged residents to stay engaged & help shape community discussion. WIFR
- ➤ Multiple Easter egg hunts are planned in the Rockford area this week for kids. The events include a 10 a.m. egg hunt at Oxford Park (suitable for all ages) and a sensory-friendly hunt starting at 11 a.m. at Alpine Hills Adventure Park, with additional options nearby. WIFR
- ➤ The 6th annual Second Chance Summit took place yesterday at the Rockford Public Library’s Nordlof Center (18 N Main Street) to offer eligible residents free legal aid to seal or expunge records. Organizers say the event helped many community members improve their job and loan opportunities. WIFR
