Rockford held its first Mimosa Festival under the summer City Market pavilion as event coordinator David Murphy partnered with Wired Cafe to bring in food trucks and vendors—organizers noted a line stretching a couple hundred feet past The Music Box—as adults enjoyed a relaxed day in the city.

Midway Village Museum in Rockford hosted a community event that recreated a Rockford Peaches game with fan seating, concessions, and a merch stand while also showcasing a Peaches exhibit.
