- ➤ On Saturday, 815 Stone Scrubbers installed headstones for 18 Civil War veterans and restored markers for 18 more at Cedar Bluff Cemetery—ending 164 years without proper recognition. The nonprofit will hold a dedication ceremony on Sept 13 so visitors can learn about the veterans’ histories. WIFR
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Police asked drivers to avoid S. Springfield Avenue and Montague Road while they investigated a motorcycle and car crash that occurred just before 3 p.m. on August 2— the car struck a light pole and injuries remain unknown. WIFR
