- ➤ Multiple flights originally set for Chicago Midway and O’Hare have been diverted to Rockford due to severe thunderstorms – FlightAware reported delays at both airports. WIFR

- ➤ Rockford residents paid roughly $5.2 million in sales taxes during June, placing the city as the eighth highest payer per municipality in Illinois—tax records show municipal sales tax made up the largest share.
