HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Brent Holcomb, a local runner and OSF HealthCare education coordinator, was forced to stop his race when he showed signs of reactive airway disease and began coughing up blood; after eight months of treatment, he has recovered + placed in the top 25 percent in a 62-mile race. WIFR
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Former Rockford Icemen players returned to the ice for their annual alumni game, raising funds for the Eric Larson Youth Hockey Scholarship which supports youth hockey registration fees & honors the late coach. Donations are accepted year-round to help more children play. WIFR
