- ➤ Firefighters responded to a blaze at The Laundry Bin in Roscoe on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.—the cause of the fire remains unknown. WTVO
- ➤ A GoFundMe page was started to help the family of 22-year-old Nych Spears, who died in a DUI crash in Winnebago County when his friend Anthony Moe lost control on Route 173—donors will help pay for his celebration of life. WTVO

- ➤ Loves Park police arrested 35-year-old Terry Bailey-Mangruem on Aug 21 after pulling over a red Chevrolet Impala with a broken headlight near East Riverside & Wilson Avenue where officers smelled raw cannabis and found a loaded stolen handgun & additional cannabis, charging him with several felonies.
